Is there also similar software option to lower/rising priority of specific running program? Or somehow launch it already with specific priorities? Windows sucks managing it automatically, any background process can grab 99.999% of CPU time, so that even your cursor does not move does not matter how many CPU cores and megahertz do you have. Again, you go to Task Manager and change the priorities. I know the option to launch program with specific priority (not just defaulr "Normal") definitely exists, since I see one of programs I use, CPUcool, which checks the temperatures amd MHz of the CPU cores always launches with lowest priority.

I cannot think of an FTN95 library function to do this for you.
You can do it via calls to the Windows API but this will either not be possible or be very difficult if you are only prepared to write Fortran code.

I know that I may be flogging a dead horse but SLINK does allow you to link object files created by both FTN95 and SCC.
