I am not sure how to add the "include" files to FTN95 project
Although there is a INCLUDE ICON in the project menu it is not possible to open it or add files/directives to it

can anybody suggest a solution

on a similar subject - Is it possible to put source subroutines and modules into different areas/folders

You do not need to add INCLUDE files to a project. Plato does this for you.

When you insert an INCLUDE line into your source code (and the source file is in the project),
Plato automatically updates the "Explorer" window when the file is saved.

You can put source files and modules into different folders but this can lead to problems.
It is better to avoid this distribution of files if possible.

If necessary you can use the command line option /MOD_PATH <pathname> for modules.

Paul

thanks very much for your prompt reply

just to make it clear for me

if I use

Include 'Include_file.h'

statment in subroutine test_ftn95.f

do I need to put the test_ftn95.f & include_file.h in the same directory

or

do i need to use the full directory address of the includefile

regards

Nadir

The simplest approach is to put the INCLUDE file in the same folder.
Then you do not need the full path.

If you use .h as an extension then it is a good idea to add this extensions to the File Filter
in Plato under Tools, Options, Text Editor, Language settings.
