Most applications developed with FTN77 will compile without any changes with FTN95. Fixed format compiling is enabled by default for files with a .FOR extension or can be invoked using the /FIXED_FORMAT command line option.

All of the routines that are available with Salford FTN77 for Win32 are available with FTN95, please be aware however that Salford FTN95 for Win32 does not support some of the routines that were available with Salford FTN77 for DBOS. Please see the "Functions ported from DBOS" section in the Users Guide for more details.
