Unix world often uses MAKE utility for proper compilation of Fortran programs. I am looking to rebuild one program for Unix to FTN95 but I never used MAKE before and basically almost never used Unix last 15 years or more. Does Salford support MAKE and what is the language and general rules ? Just out of the box original Unix MAKE file does not do anything in Windows. Is this analogy of DOS shell language seen in Windows/DOS bat, autoexex files? What specifically it is doing? Does it have any value for Windows, Fortran, and FTN95 specifically?
