Hi,
can i use clearwin in a dll?
i would like to create a dll that create and menage same windows and call it in a program.
If so have some an example?

Yes you can use ClearWin+ in a DLL.
The usage is the same. You just create a project for a Fortran DLL rather than a Fortran application. |

I have not tried using Visual ClearWin in a DLL and so I do not have an example to hand.
There is a good chance that it will work OK.
If there are problems then they will relate the the "threading model" and this may not be easy for me to fix.
Visual ClearWin is located in the GAC under Salford.VisualClearWin and SHDocVw.
Instructions on how to ship a .NET FTN95 DLL to other users can be found in the FTN95 help file under "Releasing FTN95 .NET executables and DLLs".
The distributables can be found in C:\Program Files\Silverfrost\FTN95\redist (or its equivalent on your machine). |
