When I start debugging using "Run to cursor" in Plato3, the Silverfrost debugger then fires up and stops at the relevant line. I then click "Step Over" in SDBG and control passes back to Plato3 at the next line. I go back to the SDBG window, click "Step Over", and again I'm returned to Plato3 at the next line. Back and forth.

On the other hand, if I start debugging using the "Continue debugging" icon in Plato3, SDBG fires up and I can then "Step over" etc. and remain in the SDBG window.

Just wondered if there's any information describing the interaction between Plato3 and the debugger.

Many thanks,
Andrew

P.S I use Windows Vista.

All the information that is available can be found in the FTN95 help file under "Getting started with Plato3".

If one of the windows (for Plato and SDBG) is maximised then it might help if you change from the maximised state.

I have them both maximised but on different screens using dual monitors, then the switching effect is nolonger a problem.

There is also an option in the Options dialog that allows you to "Integrate Plato with SDBG". This modifies the interaction but probably does not fix the problem.
