I need to display an updating real value and at present am using %`rf. However the values presented by this sometimes use E format - something users are not happy with. Whilst I could detect the value and display in alternate units (it is a Cu M volume) this would be equally confusing I think.

Is it possible to stop E format being used for this updating real value in any way?

Many Thanks

Bill

One way would be to WRITE to a character variable and use this in %`rs.
This would allow you to use your own formatting style.
