Is it possible to install ftn95 to run from a flash drive without all the Microsoft BS files that go along with a standard install? _________________ CLE |

Are you using the free personal version of FTN95?
If you are then you can copy the essential files such as....
FTN95.exe
SLINK.exe (for Win32)
salflibc.dll
SDBG.exe (for debugging)
Plato3.exe (for editing)
You will also need to set the PATH environment variable to include the new folder on the flash drive. |

Thanks. I have used DLL Walker to discern all the DLL's used from the WINNT directories. I have tried your suggestion. It works well as long as I am running from the Win 2000 op sys. _________________ CLE |
