My voluminous code also has a lot of statement that are larger than col 72 and extended with the legacy method of a character in column 6 of a next line (which extends the statement). ftn95 generates compile errors. Is there an option that tells the compiler to adhere to the legacy standard for this isue? |

If the program end with the extent .for, then the FORTRAN col 6 works just fine.
If you name the routines .f95, for example, it assumes a different format.
Also, under the Project Options, select Source and deselect "Allow Wide Source" if it is selected. |

Or use the compiler option /FIXED_FORMAT, if the file extension isn't .FOR or .F |
