Hi,
I am using ClearWin format code %th to create tooltip help for some of the buttons and a graphics region.
The code I am using is:
i=winio@('%th[ms_style]&',1)
I would like the tooltip help to appear underneath the mouse pointer instead of the control. I would also like to change the tooltip help in runtime so the tooltip comment reflects the current file selected.
The problem I am having is, when you select a file the graphics region, where the tooltip help is suppose to come (when the mouse enters the region), it shows TWO tooltips instead of one. One is shown dead centre and underneath the graphics region and the other below the mouse pointer.
The one below the graphics region remains static all the time and uses the comment that is initially entered when initiating the %gr code, i.e.
i=winio@('%`ap%`?gr[rgb_colours,flush][Saved graph preview box]%lc&',36.20D0,2.20D0,340,225,786,myGRCtrl)
I also use set_tooltip_text@() in order to change the text dynamically.
I hope this makes sense?!
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Murt

It is possible that this reflects a bug in ClearWin+.
a) Do both the tooltips have the Microsoft style (with the same shaded offset border)?
b) Are you using %di?
c) Can you post a small working program that illustrates the problem? |

Hey,
I managed to figure out the problem. I needed to make %gr use a call-back function, so I created a dummy call-back function and that sorted it out.
I see you mentioned the offset shaded border.... I dont seem to see that on my tooltips?!
But THANX for your suggestion, sorry if I wasted anyones time by posting this.
Kind regards
