In my ftn95 configuration for FTN95 version 8.00 I selected (among others) the following options:

    /x64
    /check

Then compiling was no longer possible, what is acceptable for me.

Surprising was that I was not able to change my configuration back with
    ftn95 /config

Before the window for selection of options appears an error occurs.

I had to search the ftn95.cfg file and to process the options by editor.

I recommend that you read the document NotesOn64BitFtn95.txt that should typically be in your silverfrost\ftn95\doc folder (see line 14). Please let me know if you can't find it.

I will make a note of your experience with /config.

Thomas

I have not been able to reproduce your experience with undoing /config.

If, as is typical, FTN95.exe is in a protected folder, and you are not running FTN95 "as administrator" then you should get a message to elevate to administrator when saving ftn95.cfg.
