When debugging the code using Visual Studio:
how do you set:
1 the path variable to load DLLs?
2 the command line args? (The values in Code: | Configuration Properties/Compiler Options/Launch arguments | seem to be ignored)
3 the run-time path?
thanks

1 DLLs should be present in the project directory or in the same directory as the executable (Debug/NET/ or Debug/Win32 for example)
2 Command line arguments are not passed correctly to the executable due a Visual Studio API problem, you can use 'Start Without Debugging' to get the command line working correctly - another option of course is to make your program read its options from a file (not ideal I know, but a workaround). If you are using Win32 only then you can also set the debugger type to SDBG and the command line can then be obtained.
3 The current directory is the project directory |
