We are pleased to announce the public release of a beta version of 64-bit ClearWin+. 64-bit ClearWin+ can be used with third party 64-bit Fortran compilers such as gFortran and NAGFor.
The main download is available as a self-extracting executable from http://www.silverfrost.com/beta/clearwin64.exe.
Extracting files from the main download will over-write a number of important files (including FTN95.exe and salflibc.dll) in your FTN95 folder, so you should consider creating a full backup before extraction.
Please note that the default path for extracting files is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Silverfrost" so you may need to change this. Also you may need to run the executable "as administrator".
Once you have extracted the files, begin by reading the text file called ClearWin64.txt in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Silverfrost\FTN95\doc\".
If you want to use 64-bit gFortran, it is available as a self-extracting executable from http://www.silverfrost.com/beta/gFortran.exe.
The default path is "C:\". This puts the sub-folders into C:\gFortran. This is a 300MB download.
Once you have extracted the gFortran files, begin by reading the text file called readme.txt that can be found in \gFortran\samples. This folder contains a test suite of ClearWin+ samples that will run under either FTN95 or 64-bit gFortran. |
