I miss some colors when set them by keyword in Clearwin. Clearly absent are orange, lightblue, violet/magenta to complete the whole basic color palette.
May be worth also to add dark and bright subcolors like lightred/darkred, lightyellow/ darkyellow etc |

Which controls are you thinking of? There is often a way to set the colour via its RGB value. |

%pl
If there would be possible to change the plot surface background, i'd use yellow and white, but right now color choices are too depleted to plot even 5 graphs simultaneously |

I have added %pl[colour=#xxxxxx]
where xxxxxx are hexadecimal values for the RGB components.
Blue is ff0000
Green is 00ff00
Red is 0000ff
With this change, this construction will also work for %ty, %bg, %tc, %bc and %bu. |

%ty and %bu don't show up in the list of format codes in FTN95.CHM - what do they do?

%ty goes with %tx.
%bu goes with %bc and is mentioned there. It sets the button text colour. |

But they are hard to find, as neither is in the alphabetical list of format codes, nor in the format code reference. %ty is mentioned (once) in CWPLUS.ENH, and %bu not at all. Neither shows up in a search of the forum using the search tool. On the other hand, no-one needs %ty until they use %tx, but %bu could be needed without recourse to %bc.
