I am using Netwide Assembler plug-in (NASM). I kind of configured it to compile but then it doesnot create the .exe file after it compiles the program. When you try to compile the program, it compiles with no errors and builds without creating the exe. Hence one cannot run the program. On clicking run there is an error message that the program is out of date and needs to rebuild it. When you give it the go ahead, it returns an error the executable does not exist. I'm running on a windows XP platform
Any ideas on how to go around this problem or how to fit in the plug-in correctly?

Usually an assembler does not have a separate linking process.
If NASM is typical then you will need to select the correct options on the NASM command line in order to create the .com or .exe file in a single step.
Alternatively you could try one of the free NASM IDEs that are available on the internet.
Please regard this correspondance as closed since we are only able to support Plato3 for use with Silverfrost compilers.
With thanks
