Hi, I hope somebody can help me with this. I'm using some fortran routines in a Finite Element Method course and Plato was working fine. But two days ago the program started to crash when I tried to open it. The Error message is :

There is a known problem on some machines with 32bit Windows 7 in that using the File menu leads to a crash.
This is because the recent file list, picked up from the registry, is NULL.
You might be able to open a file using the toolbar and then exit Plato so that the registry has a valid recent file list. Otherwise, I cannot think of a work around.
This problem has now been fixed in Plato but not until after the beta mentioned in the Announcements. Let me know how you get on and I will see if I can get a new version to you. |
