I have not been able to reproduce this behaviour. You could try using SDBG directly rather than from Plato.

I have experienced similar behaviour and the cause is a fault in the current 64 bit ClearWin+ library.

This has already been fixed for the next release of the DLLs.

Plato automatically uses /VS7 to provide line numbers. /BRIEF also works.

First try strepping into the code at the first line without any break points.

If that works then set multiple break points near to the point you want to break.

Then report back.

Make sure that the code you are debugging has been compiled using one or more of the debugging options /DEBUG, /CHECK,/CHECKMATE etc..

From Plato, select Debug or Checkmate, not Release.
