it would need only that each error is highlighted seperately, wth it's line number where it occurs, for that method to become useful.

can't find it anywhere, neither in the on-line nor .chm help 'Compiler Options'

for creation independent of a fortran program I'd recommend the freeware pěrogram Irfanview (File Menu / Slidewhow)

we seem to have 'jumped' to DLLs37 release (obviously fo v8.5)
the last I was aware of were DLLs32 (for v8.4)

Have I missed any fix/enhancement in the intervening period ?

Indeed Paul ... apologies, my error in not realising that GETENV@ (the documented new function I assume) wouldn't be mentioned in the release notes.

You're perfectly right that my interest doesn't relate to heritage code.

My 'interest' comes from just trying to understand what /DEFINE does, ...
